Health Assistant is a new concept in health assistance, an innovative solution that provides a new paradigm in health assistance. Health Assistant offers a combination of remote and personalized customer service solutions for patients who requires assistance and personalized follow-up.
Health Assistant provides a group of social-sanitary remote and personalized assistance solutions for patients who need care or personalized monitoring. Health Assistant is an application for mobile phones that has been developed with Android platform.
Included Services
Management of wearables BAN/PAN, monitoring devices connected via Bluetooth. The system is capable to collect measurements of one or more health parameters automatically or by request:
- Weight.
- Glucose.
- Blood pressure
- Temperature
- Pillbox
Integration with Hospital backoffice applications using assistant personalized protocols:
- Requests information using personalised forms for patients. Information sent to Health Center.
- Request monitoring with wearable devices connected by a BAN.
- Advanced patient/doctor communication.
- Assistant Video conference, the patient can request to contact with carer by video conference.
Health Diary, management of reminders:
- Medication Calendar.
- Health Calendar, next medical Appointments.
- Vaccination Calendar.

- "I'm lost", assistance or help request.
- Separation Alert, when the patient and their care has been separated.

Pilot Experience
Final version of Health Assistant will be evaluated in a pilot experience performed by consortium of health companies led by Andago. At least four Spanish hospitals will participate in the evaluation program:

Pilot experience will provide and integrate a group biomedical sensors needed to monitor chronic patients at a distance. The infrastructure will include:
- Biomedical sensors network.
- Mobile devices to receive and send the biomedical information to the Information System.
- Centralized Information System to manage patient records.
